New stretch target
If we go over our target we can use the money to help get the message out even further.
We need help to fund our Campaign for the Green Party to win Carlisle City Council Seats. Leah Cameron for St Aidan's ward.

If we go over our target we can use the money to help get the message out even further.
There are no Greens on Carlisle City Council and we desperately need to change that.
Unlike the other parties we are not funded by large corporate sponsors or other businesses, therefore we rely on the generosity of individuals to help fund our campaign. Your donation would help us to provide campaign leaflets for Leah Cameron, our candidate in the city's St Aidan's ward, who has a realistic chance of becoming Carlisle's first Green councillor. In previous elections we have polled 22% in this ward and have secured second place.
Leah has already been highly active in the ward dealing with the many and varied concerns of local residents. She has also been campaigning to keep our NHS public and free at the point of delivery. If Leah was elected she would fight the vicious cuts that are affecting all of us, especially the most vulnerable, and promote local strategies to combat climate change.
Thanks to the recent Green Surge more people are hearing about the Green Party. We stand for public ownership of the NHS and railways, anti austerity economics, and social and environmental justice. Look how people would vote in Carlisle if they were just looking at our policies (https://voteforpolicies.org.uk/).
Please donate what you can afford. If we are unable to reach our target we will not receive anything. If we manage to surpass the target figure then we will direct funds into promoting our local General Election candidates, Helen Davison in Carlisle and Bryan Burrow in Penrith and the Border.
