Cambodia 2018

A Community project Cambodia

Cambodia 2018

I am planning to go to Cambodia in 2018. In Cambodia, I will aid various community projects such as improving schools and adding water pumps

Hello I'm Sam,

I am 15 years old and currently in Year 11 at Kings Langley School. In Summer 2018 I am planning on going to Cambodia with my school. I love learning about the rest of the world and I am very excited to actually go to Cambodia and see a different culture. I hope to travel to Cambodia so I can help to make a difference to people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Whilst I am there, I will participate in various community projects such as improving eductional infrastructure and living standards of rural communities. For example I may construct new schools or add a fresh water pump which will allow the residents to drink safe water. I will also assist in numerous environmental programmes as well as doing a 5 day trek through the Cambodian jungle with hammocks as our beds. This will be mentally and physically tough due to the terrain.

I would also like to develop key life skills such as self belief and confidence whilst undertaking life-enhancing projects which will improve lives for the better. To help fund this trip I need to raise £3000 to pay for flights and basic living expenses. Your donations will get me one step closer to the once in a lifetime experience and give me the opportunity to help Cambodian people.

Thank you for spending your valuable time reading this and I hope this has persuaded you to donate. Any donations, big or small will make a huge difference in my life and also the people in Cambodia. If you donate it will change my life and give me the oppertunity to do something I have always wanted to do.

A huge thanks again and please help spread the word about my project,
