The recent resignation of SNP Councillor Ally Hunter has resulted in this By-Election in the Fife Council Ward which covers Leven, Kennoway & Largo. This By-Election gives us the opportunity to take the Fife Labour achievements out on the doorsteps to speak to the people who really matter, the community.
As Labour's candidate Colin is delighted to stand on the record which Fife Labour has built over the past 4 and a half years. In particular on the House Building programme and on the development of sports facilities like the 3G Pitch.
Colin will stand up for the people in our community, he has a proven track record for delivering for our young people as a teacher in Fife and for the workforce as a Trade Unionist for many years.
The issues which Colin is focusing on are varied but here are a just a few:-
- Levenmouth Rail Link Campaign - The Levenmouth Rail Link was in the manifesto for Scottish Labour during the 2016 Scottish Parliament Election and Colin is fully supportive of this campaign and believes that the people of Levenmouth deserve better.
- Bus Services - Colin believes that the bus service which we have at the moment is not adequate for the community it represents. He will campaign for better services in our communities.
- Developement of Sports facilities like the 3G pitch at Kennoway to give our community facilities which they can be proud of.
Please give Colin your support to fight this By-Election and give you a strong local voice on Fife Council.
