Butterflies of Britain is a education programme. We want to inspire and educate children about butterflies and conservation. We visit schools, nurseries, childminders and groups. We want children to take part in conservation and outdoor learning. Our gardening sessions are a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the environment and plant butterfly friendly gardens and help in conservation.
We hold free family event days so that families can take part in B.O.B and weekly toddler groups. We hold craft sessions, active sessions and gardening sessions. All our sessions cover the lifecycle of a butterfly and identifying common butterflies and conservation for them.
By inspiring children now they may become the future conservationists.
