Do you know all these beautiful Burns songs sung all over the world in January? They are so beautiful, we really hope to get these recorded also in Estonian language. Are you a proud Scot (or have your roots in Scotland) or just like Burns and feel that it would be nice to have Scottish culture promoted around the world? Make a pledge and help us promote Burns in Estonia!
We have now set out to launch a CD of Burns songs in Estonian with a talented singer Ilona Aasvere and top musicians (Tiit Kikas and Peeter Rebane etc) to celebrate Robert Burns and his works. With this CD we hope to contribute to the existing close ties between Estonia and Scotland and also to Estonia’s culture, by making Estonian people curious about Burns and bring the great mind and spirit of Robert Burns closer to Estonians.
With professional musicians that will not only play the tunes but also arrange them, we are confident that it will be really extraordinary and catch a lot of attention.

Peeter and Tiit are responsible for the arrangements of the songs.
The budget of this CD covers:
PRODUCTION & ARRANGEMENT OF SONGS (12-13 songs)
MUSICIANS (6 professional musicians)
STUDIO (recording, mixing, mastering)
PRODUCTION (disc manufacturing, Author’s Society fees)
CD COVER & BOOKLET DESIGN
Plan is to get the CD ready in 2017. Musicians have arranged the tunes for some time now so make a pledge and take what we have for you in return. Thank you!
