Brockley Max Festival

We need your help to take the Brockley Max community arts festival into its 16th year.

We did it!

On 19th May 2017 we successfully raised £9,450 of £9,450 target with 45 supporters in 65 days

New stretch target

Any additional money raised will cover costs for other festival events and enable us to commission work for the following year.

Brockley Max is a 9-day not-for-profit community festival that celebrates local talent across Brockley, Ladywell, Crofton Park & Honor Oak. Last year the festival had over 70 events from music and comedy, to art exhibitions, films as well as loads for kids to do.

This year we need funding for:

-the fabulous Opening Night on 2 June by Brockley station and for the first time a simultaneous live radio broadcast

-Brockleywood Nights - an alfresco feast of film shorts by local directors

- Art In The Park on 10 June with a music stage, children's art events, storytelling as well as  delicious food, bars and a designers' craft market.

- plus a theatre event and several music and art events.

Brockley Max brings the whole community together to celebrate why we love living in this amazing, creative part of SE London.  Whether people perform or attend , it's a fantastic opportunity to be part of this neighbourhood! It's also a great opportunity to volunteer and this year we're particularly encouraging older people to get involved.

When Brockley Max Festival started in 2002 there were only 12 events. Since then it’s grown to over 70 events with a team of over 50 people working hard to make it happen! Please pledge your support so that we can continue to grow this event for the benefit of the enjoyment of the whole community.
