Our Lunch Club ensures local older people get a daily hot meal and access to a full range of tailored activities which help keep the body and mind active.
The club supports well-being through activities and advice, information and advocacy, supporting older people to make important decisions, and access other life enhancing services. Most importantly, the club is a place to make friends and interact socially for people who would otherwise be completely alone.
’I can come here and there is always someone I can talk to. It’s a great place to come to. It’s a place I come to for help. If there was no place like this, I would be isolated and I would end up feeling depressed.” Margaret.
