Weekend success: The Wimbledon College Of Art Costume Design Fundraiser

A massive well done to everyone involved in The Wimbledon College of Art fundraiser who managed to raise all of their £250 over the weekend (and are still going). Hannah Lipman and her class set up the project to raise funds for their costume design exhibition.

Wimbledon College of Art, part of the larger University of the Arts, London, and is renowned for it’s theatre department. The success of this project is great news for the college.

The money is being raised so the students can put on an evening showcasing their talent and own work – an evening in which theatre professionals visit the college to view the students work. This is often the starting point of many of their careers.

The team used Crowdfunder to raise money for some of the drinks and nibbles, art and framing materials as well as catalogues, flyers and advertising. The project still has days left and you backers can still bag themselves some great rewards such as: an invite to the private view, a tour of the Costume Design department, a crafty goody bag and a bespoke crafty hamper.

To receive some of these great gifts place your pledge now.
