Scottish Daily Mail Award winners reach their £750 target in just four days!

Here at Crowdfunder HQ we love creative projects as much as we love the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Engineer Theatre Collective fit into both of these passions  of ours. The Engineer Theatre Collective needed to raise £750 which would enable them to take their performance to the Fringe Festival this year – we are so happy that they managed to reach their target in just four days.

Their latest production, Missing, has recently been awarded with the Scottish Daily Mail Award. Missing is based on the experiences of the families, friends and investigators of missing people in Britain and has been created from interviews personally held by members of the cast. Having successfully completed one run at the Etcetera Theatre, Camden, the collective are now beginning to re-rehearse the show. They have secured a great venue (the Underbelly, Cowgate), have a versatile cast, a great story, a superb crew but no set…

Thanks to the power of the crowd the crew can now go on and use the funds to produce a really great set for the show. Here at HQ we think this is such a fantastic project that brings home a problem that many families in the UK face. We hope the show is a huge success.

There is still time left to make your pledge. There are some great rewards on offer . . .http://crowdfunder.co.uk/missing-engineer/
