Making nature’s beauty visible through crowdfunding

After successfully crowdfunding in December 2015, today (28th April) marks National England’s opening of the new tower hide at Shapwick Heath National Nature Reserve in Somerset. The creation of the new hide fulfils the original aim of the crowdfunding project, in which 233 backers pledged their support to raise £17,466, nearly £5,000 more than the original target.
