Crowdfunder has partnered with Amazon Launchpad to help project owners sell their crowdfunded products to millions of Amazon customers.
The Amazon Launchpad platform has been launched in the UK to help startups sell their products, both here and around the world. It aims to help identify new, inspired, and cutting-edge products for the world to discover.
The online retailer’s newest marketplace, has invited crowdfunding platforms, like Crowdfunder, and sister company Crowdcube, to be one of the first to offer Amazon Launchpad to project owners in the UK. The launch and our partnership has been featured in both Techcrunch and Wired.
Speaking in The Financial Times, Chris North, the Managing Director of Amazon.co.uk said: “We know from talking to start-ups that bringing a new product to market can be just as challenging as building it,” he said. “Amazon Launchpad gives start-ups support … so they can focus on inventing on behalf of customers.”
Phil Geraghty, MD of Crowdfunder, said: “Crowdfunder is proud of its track record in developing great business ideas so we are excited to be working with Amazon Launchpad. By partnering with Amazon, British start-ups will enjoy the support of one of the world’s most visionary companies, with everything from fulfillment to customer service taken care of, along with the opportunity to sell their products to tens of millions of potential customers around the world. We can’t wait to see the results”.
Amazon Launchpad will be one of the first partnerships to feature in Crowdfunder Plus+, Crowdfunder’s new online marketplace which aims to connect people and projects to the funding and support they need from partners.
