BEWDLEY SAYS NO TO GLADMAN

BEWDLEY SAYS NO TO GLADMAN

To raise funds to fight Gladman Developers, a property speculator, who propose to build 195 homes on pristine farm land in Bewdley, Worcs.

We did it!

On 30th Oct 2016 we successfully raised £3,600 with 186 supporters in 48 days

We are looking to raise funds to fight Gladman Developers, a property speculator, who is proposing to build 195 homes on pristine farm land on the edge of the historic Wyre Forest in the unique Georgian town of Bewdley, Worcestershire. This plan will cause untold, unrecoverable environmental damage, go against the democratic Neighbourhood Plan created by the residents of Bewdley, cause increased traffic congestion in this quaint Georgian town.

In addition, the local schools cannot cope with the increase of 195 families as cannot the local medical and emergency services. (The Bewdley fire station is about to be closed )...and more.

Funds raised, would be to pay for legal fees, a barrister if the proposal goes to appeal, the services of experts & consultants in many areas to fight the planning application, media, printing, sundries etc.
