Berwick Speedway Training Academy is the brainchild of local ex-speedway riders Scott Courtney and Gary Flint. Flanked by former riders Derek Sneddon and Tamas Sike, and current Glasgow captain Aaron Summers, they have worked tirelessly throughout the summer to create a new training academy that could see generations of new speedway rider progress into professional sport.
Currently the guys are in phase 2 of 3 of the project and thanks to backers including the BSPA and local businesses, they are making good progress.
Like any project of this nature the finances have to be at a steady flow to keep the construction work ongoing and thanks to Derek Sneddon and Scott Frame we have came up with a unique way for people to get involved.
Derek and Scott have both kindly donated a KX85 MotoX bike in order to raise funds for the project and thanks to the kind sponsorship of Grant Henderson Tankers we have already made steps in raising funds.
All you have to do to get involved is simply donate £10 to this page and your name will be put in our raffle to with the KX85 bike (as pictured). As a gesture we will also throw in helmets and other forms of safety equipment.
Your help is greatly appreciated and it helps secure the future of our sport far and wide.
Further details on the project can be found on Berwick Speedway's official website.
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at our page and thank you in advance for your donation.
