Beautifying Art is a beauty salon opened in Kettering, Northamptonshire on July, 2013 by Marta and Pawel, who got married in the mean time ;) Our aims were and always will be to run a successful business giving 110% to our customers and always provide quality over quantity in our services. Thanks to Marta's hard work and determination Beautifying Art is well known for the high standard of work. We treat each and every client individually and with due respect. We are truly a 'Beauty salon inspired by You'! Marta has a degree in Cosmetology and mutliple courses done during her 10 year carrier. Beautifying Art has came to a place were it needs to expand as a salon, but with this we want to offer something back to the community... this is where You come in and the Beautifying Project!
Beautifying Project, what is it all about?
With the expansion of the beauty salon we will not only be able to accomodate extra customers, but offer jobs and apprenticeships within the salon. Since opening of the salon we have noticed that the standards in the beauty industry are quiet low and you can find beauty therapists or nail technicians that haven't got enough knowledge to perform certain treatments. We want to change that! Making the salon bigger is one thing, but we also want to make space for a Beauty Academy. Marta during her time in the beauty industry together with the help from professors, doctors and other beauty therapists is working on a training program, so that our trainees can offer the same high standards as we do. We would also like to help people who are unemployed with offering free of charge courses. To do this we need to get accreditation on our courses and this costs a lot of money, but hey we can do it! Thanks to Pawel's IT and business knowledge we can also offer business start up or getting your business online workshops... There is so much we can do, but we need your help!
Why we have chosen crowd founding and how will we prove where the money is going?
To keep our prices down to Earth we can't afford to take up a loan. With the banks interest rates we would have to increase our prices and wouldn't be able to offer free courses or workshops. Crowd funding will cost less than 7%, which is very little compared to a banks interest rate. We will make sure that each and every penny goes into the project and update you with the progress on all our social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and Twitter. We pledge that we will put in as much of our work as we can. Most of the rennovation work will be done by Pawel and we will try to get locals involved as well... so exciting!
