Be a blessing in Albania

We are taking a van with equipment to Albania to bless poor, disabled and traumatised children and adults.

Project aim

We want to bless some of the poor, disabled and traumatised children and adults in a certain area of Albania.

About the project

We are 29 people consisting of adults, teenagers and a couple of children going to Albania from the 26th July to 11th August. Here we will run a football camp for kids in the local villages, visit a disabled orphanage, a safety home for woman of all ages who has been abused, and work with street kids. We will be running different types of activities with them such as craft, dramas, and take them out for swimming and ice cream. In Albania disabled people are still being looked down upon and people are afraid of "catching their illness". This therefore means a lot.

While most people in the group are flying, a couple of people will be driving a personal van containing all the different equipment needed, personal bags and other items that has been asked for. Not only does the van save luggage cost, but we are able to bring more gifts. Everyone has already paid the ticket, funding has been raised for the activities there - now we need the funding for the van!
