Bath's one and only Kids' Comedy Festival at Bath Comedy Festival 2017 needs your help to survive!

Bath Comedy Festival has bein entertaining the folks of Bath and district every April for 9 years...but it's mostly for grown-ups. For 3 years a brilliant volunteer professional has been putting together  a great programme of kids' comedy events within the festival. It has proved enormously popular, especially the buggy-friendly gigs, a boon for flustered mums and dads wanting reasonably priced creative activities. Problem is, it's run on a shoestring and commercial sponsors seem only interested in the big names in the main festival. It's time we put the Kids' Comfest on a proper footing. The poor chap should be paid for a start!

We really want to fill this gap, utilising the main festival venues during the day when not being used. This would take a deal of planning,  the booking of suitable acts and running the events (with the help of our fantastic volunteer stewards) and targetted publicity. People think that Bath is posh, but there are plenty of hard up families desperate to find  things for the kids to do in safe, relaxed surroundings, with refreshments, full disabled access  and absolutely delightful, immersive and participatory comedy fun.

Broadcaster and comic Arthur Smith declared the Bath Comedy Festival to be the best in England. We're pretty sure that no other comedy festival caters for an audience from 2 years old upwards!

Without  your support we might simply have to cut the kids' events from the programme.
