I own a teenie tiny confectionary business in Berkshire. The aim is to get us to Bath Christmas Market and show ourselves to 370000 people!
I've been cooking for as long as I can remember, working first in big hotels like The Dorchester and then in boutique pastry shops like Madame Posh. Finally self-employed, I set up Dolci Da Favola, to bring a little sweetness to The South West.
Our products are all handmade, free of artificial sweeterners or preservatives. We use organic fruit from our local market, and our chocolate comes from Callebaut who are interested in sustainable and ethical sourcing for cacao beans.
We regularly participate to markets in Berkshire and Surrey and Hampshire, but we think we're ready for something bigger.
Bath Christmas market is one of the largest in the U.K., with 170 stalls running for 3 weeks between November and December. Last year, footfall was 370,000 people.
