Thank you, Katy for setting this in motion. I am giving out this website address to everyone who contacts me with concern about refugees-many are. There is a peaceful demonstration on the steps of the Guildhall at 4pm Thursday 10th in advance of the full council meeting. At that meeting, which starts at 6:30pm, item 7 is the proposal brought back from July to investigate re-housing 50 Syrian families. People can watch from the public gallery, or on the B&NES website webcam a few days later. Also, be sure to sign the online petition to urge B&NES council to re-house refugees at https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/refugees-welcome-in-bath?source=facebook-share-button&time=1441456673
Wish I could give more right now, and that I could be of practical help to you on the ground. So proud to call you my friends!
Thank you for organising this project to help people in crisis. Good luck meeting your target!
