To raise funds for our general and local election campaigns in 2015.

New stretch target

In addition to the deposit that has to be paid, in order to stand in the general election, we also need funds for our campaign. We have a number of expenses, including a mail out to every house in the constituency, posters, leaflets, flyers and other office expenses.

We do not accept donations from large corporations, so we are totally reliant on personal donations from people like you, who want politics done differently.

Project aim

To raise funds for our general and local election campaigns in 2015.

About the project

We need your pledges! We are raising money to give voters in the Barrow and Furness constituency a real alternative, a real choice, at the general election. No more “business as usual”. We have a great candidate, in Rob O’Hara, so please help us by pledging  your support, in order to raise the money to fight the campaign. The elecion deposit is £500, which we have to finance. We need to fight a real campaign, a campaign for social justice, a campaign for fairness, equality and the common good, and a campaign to change how politics gets done. We need your pledges and support to do this, so if you can, make your pledge and together we can do things differently and support Rob’s fight. We do NOT take any corporate donations, unlike the other political parties, so we are financially disadvantaged to begin with. Corporate lobbying and greed plague our political system; it’s time to change this situation, and you can help directly. Pledge money, everyone, and let’s change politics, so that honesty, respect and truth can be restored to our democracy. We can’t do it without you!
