We have four brilliant candidates who want to stand for Parliament in the general election; Shannon Butterfield (Barking), Denis Breading (Dagenham & Rainham), Peter Caton (Hornchurch & Upminster) and David Hughes (Romford), so everyone in our four East London constituencies will be able to vote G r e e n on Thursday 8 June 2017. That said, we need to raise at least £1000 to make sure an election leaflet is delivered to every household in our constituencies.
Members, supporters and residents we've helped know that volunteers run our local Green campaigns and seldom ask for financial help. However, the cost of designing and printing thousands of leaflets for this 'snap' general election will leave us with a short-fall, so please consider making a small contribution towards our printing bill.
Fairness and equality don't seem to exist within our democratic system at present. We've experienced a massive surge in support since 2014, but we don't have corporate funding like some political parties and we refuse to accept big money from unethical sources. Ninety-six per cent of our funding comes from membership and individual donations like yours, so please donate to our campaign so that we can be an even stronger voice in Barking, Dagenham and Havering.
Thanks for taking the time to look at our project and also for your support. Every little helps. Your contribution is very much appreciated!
