Due to the ever increasing problems surrounding bullying and hate crimes and the ripple effects that it has within the local community,we have created and develop a new project that focuses around the problems and issues of bullying. This project B-Free aims to be a focal point for young people in Bolton to receive help, advice, support and counselling. We intend to use this funding to launch a new initiative project. Bolton is a multi cultural town, with a very large influx of refugee's and asylum seekers. Hate crime and bullying have become a very serious problem in Bolton, and reports of hate crime within the last five years are annually on the increase. We intend to provide a series of workshops highlighting many of the issues young people face eg Cyber Bullying which as become a massive issue with many young people turning to self harm and more seriously taking their own lives. We also intend to create a website which will give relevant information and advice. Through the website we intend to provide links with local secondary and primary schools, police/community police, social services, colleges etc. The workshops will include music, photography and film to produce a piece of work that promotes our new project(B-Free). The views and opinions of young people on this subject will be used  to create a short film, and a piece of music which when completed  will be distributed within primary, secondary schools, and community groups  highlighting the services and support that the project provides for victims of hate crime in Bolton. Workshops will be delivered at All Souls centre, in local schools(secondary & primary) Ucan centre's and community centre's and will commence when funding is secured
