Project aim

A creative house and studio can potentially build a creative community but the move from school teacher to artist in a studio requires funding.

About the project

I am currently a primary school teacher that is considering make the move to become an artist. However, this is not just a change of direction in career, it is more about fulfilling an idea to creative an ambiance in a community which develops from one person being creative, in an artistic setting, and gently letting that notion ignite others to follow suit should they choose to do so. Encouraging others to use their own living spaces as workshops or an outlet of creative expression.

Many rural areas near where I live have little or no access to art studios or workshops.  I aim to create a studio workshop that fills that gap in a rural setting.  Keeping it small, simple and filled with integrity.

In return for each generous pledge I offer a unique, one off, watercolour portrait of yourself, a friend, your dog or any other human or animal companion or subject your choice.
