As a family we are setting up a new Environmentally consious campsite, somewhere to come to experience the countryside whilst putting minimal impact on the countryside. We will also be offering bushcraft parties educating children about the great outdoors and how to preserve its beauty and wildlife for the future.
Our project is all about providing a natural, tranquil, stress free place for campers to enjoy while preserving the natural environment and wildlife.
Our family have owned 23 acres of land in the beautiful village of Ackleton since the 1960's, originally bought as an area to keep the family horses. Since then the land has only ever been used for grazing both family horses and renting out 5 acres for equine grazing.
For the last few years as the family has grown we wanted to make a sustainable family business using the land but still wanted to preserve its nature and beauty.
After numerous family meetings, we decided that allowing other people to experience and enjoy Annie's Farm as an ECO campsite and education area would enable us to create a sustainable business.
We still have five family horses and four pedigree sheep owned and cared for by our 12 year old daughter Chloe.
