Amy Peabody's campaign for Biggleswade North
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a Green Councillor on Central Bedfordshire Council. Amy stood in the previous council elections in 2015 and picked up a lot of votes despite not having funding for a high profile campaign. She works in the non-profit sector for a charity that campaigns to protect the English countryside and has previously worked in the fields of child rights, peace-building and poverty reduction. Her key election promises are:
- PROTECTION OF OUR LOCAL ENVIRONMENT
- BETTER INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES INVESTMENT
- ACTION AGAINST LITTER
- PROTECTION OF SOCIAL CARE FUNDING
- MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING

We don't have the financial backing like other parties and so, while we don't like asking for money, this is the way we are funded by our supporters. In that respect, we value every penny pledged and so you can rest assured that your money will be put to good use. We need to produce election leaflets , other promotional materials and pay for venues.
Anything we take over our goal will help us get the word out in other wards or go into Luton and Bedfordshire Green Party funds to help us fund future campaigns.
Thank you in advance,
Central Bedfordshire Green Party
