Amélie's Larder is the first gluten-free shop to open in Bristol, and is located in the beautiful and historic St.Nicholas' Market. We sell locally sourced, homemade baked goods alongside a range of top quality, pre-packed gluten-free products.
We aim to enhance the community of Bristol by:
- Providing quality gluten-free products that everyone can enjoy
- Supporting and championing local-gluten free bakers
- Supporting people whether they have coeliac disease, follow a special diet or simply looking for a healthier lifestyle
- Providing employment for two part-time members of staff

Why are we Crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to complete the furnishing of the shop, expanding our range of goods and buying an all-important fridge.
We have been overwhelmed by the support from our local community, whether it be people popping in to say 'Hello' during the setting-up of the shop; positive comments via FaceBook, Twitter and our website or donations of time and resources. We want to embrace and develop this support by providing the best gluten-free shop in Bristol.
How did Amélie's Larder begin?
Amélie's Larder began just after Louise's daughter, Amélie, was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. Louise set up a website and social media pages with the aim of sharing ideas and recipes and generally raising awareness of gluten-free living. Alongside Heather, whose daughter Honey was diagnosed just under a year ago, they are taking the next logical step and together they are opening a gluten-free shop.

We are hugely grateful for every single donation we receive, and every person who contributes to the project will have their name published on our website. Beyond that we are offering an array of Amélie's Larder goodies including limited edition tea-towels and tote-bags, discounts for the shop and a huge hamper of gluten-free goodies!
