56 Hobill Walk, Surbiton, KT5 8SZ.Every year the Alpha Road Community Group put on a Fun Day for the residents both young and old where they can get together and enjoy a special day out. There are activities for both young and old and the aim is to encourage community cohesion whilst having fun. This year we have introduced two new activites, a giant inflatable slide for the teenagers and a petting zoo for the little ones. As we like to keep things priced as low as possible so that all can afford to take part we are hoping to raise the £300 to cover the cost of the petting zoo.

The puppose of the petting zoo is to give children the opportunity to learn about some exotic pets and also to play with the friendly ones. Living on an estate does not always give the children the opportunity to have pets and also when money is tight parents are not always able to afford to take them to the zoo so our idea is to bring the zoo to them.

If you can help in any way we would be most grateful.

With thanks from the Alpha Road Community Group
