We are a small product design company based in berkshire.

We have a product we want to develop, which is an oxygen generator (Patent no. 6000577).

The oxygen generator's purpose is to provide a source of oxygen for life support. It is a rugged non explosive unit capable of delivering 6L/Min of oxygen for 20 minutes (1 canister activated) or 12L/Min for 20 Minutes (Both canisters activated). Can be used in hospitals, ambulances and military combat zones. The design allows for reliability & functionality even after long term storage. It has and indicator system that shows whether or not the unit has been activated. This system allows for storage if one canister is spent and the next person to use it will know the unit's status. Pull the rubber bung off to expose the oxygen exit port

Twist the activation dial clockwise three 150 degree turns. 

Indicator shows 1st canister activated and provides 6L/Min for 20 minutes. At this point when the1st canister is spent the cap can be put back if no more oxygen is needed (cap stops accidental activation)

To activate 2nd canister twist activation dial three clockwise 150 degree turns .  Indicator shows 2nd canister activated and provides 6L/Min for 20 minutes. At this point when the 2nd canister is spent the unit can safely disposed. Both casniters can be activated in sequence to achive 12L/Min of oxygen for 20 minutes if required.

We have design and developed our technology to a point where we are ready to prototype it and showcase at an exhibition.

We want to raise funds to:

PHASE 1 - manufacture a demonstration unit for exihibition. 

PHASE 2 - manufacture a fully functioning prototype, testing, product marketing & demonstrations.

PHASE 3 - finalise product design ready for volume manufacturing

for phase 2 & 3 we need to employ a chemical engineer to work on the chemical formulation on a 3 month contract paying a rate of £30/hr (£13500).
