So I am trying to step by step gain a masters or LLM in Mental Health Law. As my friends and family know getting my Social Work BA Hons aged 37 was a financial struggle being a single mother of two lovely girls. As I need to work full time in order to pay my bills I cannot afford to take time away from work and study full time Masters so have found that you can study distance learning at Northumbria University in 3 stages - first year ends in a Postgrad Cert, second in a Postgrad Diploma and third with the LLM. Each year costs £1888 which I can pay in instalments however this extra cost is something that I will struggle with.
This course will also help me with my AMHP training next year (Approved Mental Health Practitioner) which will be a huge acheivement!
I am working usually over 50 hours a week (and more often) already and will cover all my usual outgoings - this is SOLEY for the course fee.
