Air Ambulance Jet Medical Equipment Requirement

Air Ambulance Jet Medical Equipment Requirement

United Kingdoms first jet air ambulance charity has an urgent requirement for the aeromedical equipment to re-equip our jet aircraft.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

SkyAngels Air Ambulance has been formed to provide the United Kingdom with its first national jet aircraft air ambulance charity. Charity Number:1168225. Our jet, which is sleeping here in her hangar at London Oxford Airport will give the NHS a jet air ambulance option within its inter-hospital transfer services and bring us in-line with all other developed countries.

Our jet can transfer patients within minutes rather than hours and will be used for the most critical of missions, saving time, saving lives, its a SkyAngels thing...

Presently our Challenger aircraft is equipped as a corporate jet and requires a re-role into a dedicated air ambulance jet.

This Crowdfunder Appeal is for this medical equipment purchase and the fitting out of our wide-body, twin-engined Challenger 601-3R jet.

SkyAngels are pleased to announce that Spectrum Aeromed have been chosen to equip our Challenger jet with two 2800 series life-medical systems with the electric patient ramp and associated Challenger aircraft systems. No European aircraft has this electric patient ramp designed by Spectrum Aeromed and with our Challenger aircraft sitting quite high from the deck, we feel this modication is an essential for the safety of our patients and crews.

A major reason we chose Spectrum Aeromed is their commitment to building medical systems with the aim of saving lives through their designs, integrated into our Challenger jet.

This initial campaign is for the 50% Spectrum Aeromed requires to start the designing and production of our aero-medical kit. Of course, the balance will also be required before delivery and fitting out at London Oxford Airport. Their corporate video is also worth viewing...Polo #SkyAngelsAirBoss
