About the project
Socialist Students Manchester is launching a campaign to gather donations and aid for refugees in the Calais refugee camp. Our aim is to raise money, collect donations of clothing, food and appropriate materials to take to the refugee camp. We will be posting updates on our face book page: www.facebook.com/SocStuManc Please donate genorously, and help us provide relif for Refugees in the calais camp fleeing horrific wars and conflicts across the world.
Due to mass pressure Cameron and his cronies in the UK government are crying crocodile tears over the reccent, shocking pictures of refugees fleeing war in Syria, and promising to do more. Yet, it is the involvement of the British government in the war in Iraq, the bombing of Libya and air strikes in Syria which contributeed to this disastrous situation.
Socialist students stands in solidarity with the refugees in the Calais camp and we need your help to bring them support.
