We would never normally be the band to do this, mainly out of pride, but under certain circumstances we have no option but try a different alternative.
At around 3:30AM on the 3rd of June, our drummer Adam Lewis's house was broken into by 2 men, making off with everything they could fit into bags, even loading up his own work bags and leaving with them full of equipment. With both the front door & his flat door being kicked open, the burglars made off over £5-£6k worth of equipment including; A £2000 apple macbook pro we have used for backing tracks and our live rig which also contained every single video from our tours, a go pro hero 4, a ps4 along with about15 games, his wallet with all his cards/money, a phone, an ipad amongst other stuff. Details have been passed to the police who claim it is not likely to see any of it again, the insurance company have also been contacted but have informed us that as the wood was not damaged on the doors it does not qualify as a forced break in. Due to the nature of this misfortune, we couldnt possibly hope to fund the full amount back as only 2 items directly effect us as a band (the lack of laptop prevents us from using our setup and the go pro to visually document). Due to the robbery not happening on tour, we feel it is an injustice to ask for any amount larger than we have as all we aim to do is have adam with a working backing track rig by the end of it again.
