Planning your project

The more you put into it, the more you'll get out

Crowdfunding has its challenges, but you've done the hard bit by coming up with your idea.

Now you need to start planning your project and our experts are on hand to help with that.

This is yours, so it’s up to you to make sure you have everything lined up and ready to go before launching.

Momentum behind a new project should be starting to happen before it's launched.

Be prepared to invest maybe double the duration of your campaign in the planning stage.

Research is key; find other projects that are crowdfunding for similar things or causes.

Understand what they did right and apply that to your own.

It’s important to research both successful and failed projects, so you can learn from those mistakes.

If you want your campaign to succeed, be prepared to work hard and very long hours to make it happen. Learn from your mistakes. If something isn’t working, figure out why.

Measure your results. If users don’t react positively to something, change it. That's the beauty of it all.

And make sure you download our planning packs on this page, produced by our crowdfunding experts to give you the best possible chance of success. So are you ready?

From passion, commitment and dedication comes great Crowdfunder projects.
