Aberdeen Greens Westminster Campaign

Help Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Greens build a campaign fund for the Westminster elections

Project aim

Help Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Greens build a campaign fund for the Westminster elections. We're fighting two seats, Aberdeen South and West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine. We need your help to spread the Green message!

About the project

Scottish Greens have two fantastic candidates campaigning in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire during the Westminster election.

Dan Yeats is fighting Aberdeen South, currently held by Labour. https://www.facebook.com/danyeatsgreen?fref=ts

Richard Openshaw is campaigning in West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine, currently held by the Lib Dems. https://www.facebook.com/RichardOpenshawWAK?fref=ts

As a party, we don't take any money from big business or millionaire donors, we're funded entirely by people like you. We need people who want to see real change in our politics to give what they can to help us get the Green message out to voters during this election. Your donations may help us put out an extra leaflet, fund a social media advertising campaign or even save our deposit. As a reward, we'll invite everyone who backs us to a post-election event in Aberdeen. It's not much, but we'd like to show that we value the support you give us.

Our manifesto is a platform for change. An economy for the people, a society for all. That's what Scottish Greens stand for.

  • We want to protect North East jobs by planning now for a transition to a renewable energy industry, not waiting for the oil to dry up before we think about it
  • A £10 living wage for all, to lift working people out of poverty and take the pressure of our lifeline services
  • Public services in public hands, railways that are owned by the people of Scotland for their benefit, not shareholders
  • More power to communities - we want more powers for Holyrood so that we can begin giving our communities more powers to effect real change in peoples lives

With your help we can create a fairer, greener Scotland together.
