New stretch target
FANTASTIC!! We've secured our launch funding. This is really great news. Thanks to all who've helped make this happen.
We can now target funding into the heart of our campaign. Over the next couple of months we'll be working hard to get our message out, send our lead candidates across the region, print leaflets and posters. It's a lot of hard work, but your extra funding will really help up to get there. Together we can ensure the Green vision of a fairer, safer, more sustainable Scotland can be realised. Please give whatever you can.
We have an exciting, talented and highly respected pool of candidates standing in the North East list, headed by Maggie Chapman.
Maggie is the Party's Co-convener, current Rector of the University of Aberdeen and works for Amina - The Muslim Women's Resource Centre in Dundee. She is a former Edinburgh City Councillor, European Parlimentary Candidate and represented the Scottish Greens on The Smith Commission into further devolution powers. There is no question: Maggie would be a formidable MSP and we're very excited to have Maggie topping our Regional list in the North East.
Second on our List is Dan Yeats, a well known local campaigner, Westminster Green candiate, Aberdeen City by-election candidate and a key driving force behind the Common Weal movement here in the North East.
Supporting Maggie and Dan are Morag Hannah, David Officer, Morgan Petrie, Alex Jarvis and Gordon Matheson. All in, a committed, enthusiastic passionate group of Greens. And of course, all the candidates are supported by members and activists across the North East, in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Dundee and Angus. We'll be knocking doors, holding stalls and events, and getting the message out on social media - but we need your help! If you want to see a Greener Holyrood, please donate what you can - and help the Scottish Green Party deliver a brighter, fairer future for Scotland and the North East.
Please get behind them, the Scottish Green Party and help deliver a brighter, fairer future for Scotland and the North East.
