Please help us to take a group of children, displaced through family circumstance, including fleeing domestic violence, job loss, or relationship breakdown, out on a fun trip to the Zoo!

Aylesbury Youth Action is a local youth charity, engaging young people in running amazing and worthwhile community projects for the benefit of others.  We have a fantastic team of young volunteers who help run our two children's projects for children who have been displaced.  Each week, the young volunteers run activities for the children, spend time getting to know them, and help them to open up, make friends and enjoy life.

The children are encouraged to share their ideas for activities and have requested a trip to the zoo.  Your support would pay for zoo tickets for the children and the young volunteers, and transport to the zoo.  If we raise more than 100% then we will also be able to pay for a ride on the 'jumbo express' train, or buy ice creams for the children.

For many of the children, this is going to be their first experience of visiting a zoo and seeing the animals for real life.  Your donation will make this trip possible.
