WCA Theatre Design Exhibition

We are aiming to organise the best graduate exhibition this year in WCA and we need your support to make this happen

Wimbledon College of Art, part of the larger University of the Arts, London, is renowned for it's theatre department. With notable alumni such as Sarah Greenwood, Richard Hudson, Ann Maskrey and Edward Thomas the school has long been noted for its monumental influence in the world of theatrical design.

Site Specific designed and directed by student from our course

Our graduation exhibition, in which those theatre professionals who the students respect and admire are invited to view their work, is often the starting point of many of their careers. It is an opportunity for the graduates to show off the fantastic work they have achieved in their three years of study. This is includes their final set design and all the research and sketchbook designs that display their growing confidence and extensive talents.

Our MINIMUM TARGET is £300 but WE STILL NEED TO RAISE OVER £1500 pounds. We hope to raise some money for art and framing materials as well as catalogues and advertising, which of course does not come easily. We are also trying to raise money from bake sale, second-hand sale and have offered all the creative skills we possess so as to raise the money. As the technologically advanced generation however we feel it is time to take our mission online into the world of website funding, Facebook and beyond. By doing this we can reach a wider audience to advertise the degree show and the students work, ideals and personal projects that will generate interest about the individuals themselves.

We hope that you may share our enthusiasm and excitement for this years exhibition which we believe will be better than ever with your help!

Want to know what we're up to as we prepare for our sensational degree show? Email us at wimbledontheatredesign2014@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you!

NOTE: all rewards must be collected at the show unless other arrangements are made! With immense gratitude and hope for the future,

The Class of 2014
