So yesterday something really dreadful happened, my busking amplifier broke mid-performance - I have no idea how or why this happened! :-(
After several hours of slaving away trying to fix it, including taking it apart, putting it back together, and even praying to Superman for help, my Roland Street Cube Ex has gone kaput and shall never work again.
As many of you know, I am a full time musician and 90% of my income comes from busking and shows where I require my own amplification. I have a show of this nature at the Primo Bar in Waterloo this Monday and I do not want to let the lovely staff there down. I am completely dependant on having an amplifier in order to earn a living.
I believe that life throws many things at us to test us, I love performing but it's been really difficult at the moment to get by; the Southbank where many of you see me everyday has been very quiet, and when finally the Southbank Christmas Market arrives & I also get a license for the London Underground - Life tests me again and my amp breaks!
Anyway, enough negativity - I'm taking a positive spin on this and using it as an opportunity to reach out to you guys for help!
To buy a new amp, I need to raise £400 in the next TWO DAYS in order not to have to cancel my gig this Monday at the Primo Barand to continue life as a full time musician.
I am asking you guys to help me reach my £400 target within the next two days, no matter how large or small - Every donation will be a huge help!
I just want to say thank you in advance for your support with this, & thank you to all of you who have been supporting me with my music for a long time now! I really couldn't do this without you - No words can really express my gratitude!!
Have a wonderful weekend and happy donating - Lets do this together so that I can play my show on Monday and start busking again ASAP!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP, hopefully see you on Southbank soon <3
