How the West was Won - Film 2015

A Film and Theatre project Cornwall TR10

A documentary film about the 2015 General Election in Cornwall

How the West was Won is a documentary film about the 2015 General Election in Cornwall. Researched, interviewed and filmed by students at the University of Exeter and Falmouth University (both based at the Penryn campus) the film will follow the exciting 2015 election campaign across all six constituencies.

At present over 20 students are involved in the filming, research and production of the film and work has already begun on building important relationships with the leading political figures in Cornwall. We have already conducted interviews with Dan Rogerson MP (LD), Sarah Newton MP (Con), Lord Teverson (LD), Michael Foster (Lab) and Dick Cole (MK).

Dan Rogerson Interview

We are seeking funding fromĀ a number of sources including the students union and the Annual Fund of the University of Exeter. We should know fairly soon if we are getting this funding to launch the project.

The money we raise from the Crowdfunder will go to covering the expenses of the project teams as they travel across Cornwall and we will also need to but equipment that we cannot beg or borrow.

HTWWW Film Team

We have a very enthusiastic team of people involved across a series of jobs from Directors and Producers to and Artistic Team and Stills Photography. We really want to tell the story of the 2015 election and with your help we can.
