The 3 Villages Youth Project is a small charity based in Newlyn. The project works with children and young people aged 0-25 and their families. The project runs weekly sessions for young people as well as working on a one to one basis where needed and running community events. These sessions and events offer the young people fun, support and opportunities for development. At 3VYP we pride ourselves on being a young people led service. If the young people have an idea, we do our best to make it happen!
The project supports young people on a variety of issues including mental health, sexual health, drugs and alcohol, domestic abuse, bullying, healthy eating, improving physical health, confidence and self esteem. Workers deliver sessions raising awareness, improving knowledge and enabling the young people to make informed decisions.
At 3VYP we judge our success on changes in behaviour, attitude, confidence and skills of the young people we work with.
The 3 Villages Youth Project is in its 14th year of operation. Over the past 14 years the project has worked with over 5,000 children and young people offering new opportunities, support and positive experiences. We hope to be able to continue the project and work with more young people to help improve their lives.
