To replace a micro-light aircraft that crashed on landing

by Dominic Whelan in Penkridge, England, United Kingdom

I have wanted to be a pilot since I was a very little boy.  I saved up and took flying lessons early in 2016.  Through a lot of dedication and hard work, I eventually passed my pilots license.  I saved up and bought a small, second hand microlight aircraft, a lovely blue machine we nicknamed: Floaty McFloatface.  I really loved this plane. However, the day after my pilots test I had a horrifc accident where I was struck by the spinning propeller in my face.  After a little surgery, 28 stitches and much rest and much saving, I was able to afford to have the aircrfat repaired, I still have no feeling in parts of my forhead.  However,4 weeks after having it repaired I crashed the plane on landing (writing it off completley).  This time I only hurt my legs and arms thankfully.  I love flying but now cannot aford to repair or replace the plane.  What is left of the crumpled mess is in the hangar waiting to be sent to the scrap-man.  Please help me realise my dream of flying.
